The controlled substances list from FDA's NDC Directory: 100 medicines listed with a DEA schedule (some in more than one, by strength and form), from schedule II (the most restricted with an accepted medical use) to schedule V; schedule II includes methylphenidate (Metadate, Relexxii), amphetamine and dextroamphetamine (Adderall, Mydayis), acetaminophen and hydrocodone (Norco) and lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse, Arynta). Which medicines are in each schedule?

Schedule II includes methylphenidate (Metadate, Relexxii), amphetamine and dextroamphetamine (Adderall, Mydayis), acetaminophen and hydrocodone (Norco), lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse, Arynta), oxycodone (Oxycontin, Xtampza), morphine (Duramorph, Infumorph), acetaminophen and oxycodone (Endocet, Prolate) and dexmethylphenidate (Focalin) (all 33 on its schedule page).

Schedule III includes testosterone (Jatenzo, Xyosted), buprenorphine (Belbuca, Brixadi), buprenorphine and naloxone (Zubsolv, Suboxone), acetaminophen and codeine, acetaminophen and butalbital and caffeine (Fioricet, Butal), perampanel (Fycompa), ketamine (Ketalar) and phendimetrazine (all 20 on its schedule page).

Schedule IV includes phenobarbital (Sezaby), lorazepam (Ativan, Loreev), clonazepam (Klonopin), zolpidem (Ambien, Edluar), alprazolam (Xanax), diazepam (Valium, Valtoco), tramadol (Conzip) and phentermine (Lomaira) (all 40 on its schedule page).

Schedule V includes pregabalin (Lyrica), lacosamide (Vimpat, Motpoly), acetaminophen and codeine, brivaracetam (Briviact), atropine and diphenoxylate (Lomotil), cenobamate (Xcopri), codeine and promethazine and lasmiditan (Reyvow) (all 10 on its schedule page).
