From the label: adverse reactions, continued

The following serious adverse reactions are discussed in greater detail in another section of the label: • Bone Marrow Suppression [see Warnings and Precautions ( 5.1 )] The most common adverse drug reactions (≥ 10%) in patients receiving Xofigo were nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and peripheral edema. In the randomized clinical trial in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer with bone metastases, 600 patients received intravenous injections of 55 kBq/kg (1.49 microcurie/kg) of Xofigo and best standard of care and 301 patients received placebo and best standard of care once every 4 weeks for up to 6 injections. What do FAERS reports show?

5,023 reports list radium ra 223 dichloride among the medicines taken, each a report of something that happened, not proof the medicine caused it; 1,027 are coded as a death and 1,165 as a hospital stay. Counts follow how widely a medicine is used and watched, and they are not a measure of how risky it is. Of the 22 reactions below, 6 are named by the same term (in US spelling) in the label's adverse reactions, warnings or patient leaflet; a reaction the label does not name may still be there under another word, and a report does not show that the medicine caused it.
