Erythromycin's FDA label of August 1, 2024 names verapamil in its drug interactions section, and verapamil's label names erythromycin too. The verapamil label: “Clinically significant interactions have been reported with inhibitors of CYP3A4 causing elevation of plasma levels of verapamil.”

What does the erythromycin label say about verapamil?

Erythromycin label, drug interactions

Hypotension, bradyarrhythmias, and lactic acidosis have been observed in patients receiving concurrent verapamil, belonging to the calcium channel blockers drug class.

Erythromycin label, warnings

These include colchicine toxicity with colchicine; rhabdomyolysis with simvastatin, lovastatin, and atorvastatin; and hypotension with calcium channel blockers metabolized by CYP3A4 (e.g., verapamil, amlodipine, diltiazem) (see PRECAUTIONS - Drug Interactions ).

What does the verapamil label say about erythromycin?

Clinically significant interactions have been reported with inhibitors of CYP3A4 (e.g., erythromycin, ritonavir) causing elevation of plasma levels of verapamil while inducers of CYP3A4 (e.g., rifampin) have caused a lowering of plasma levels of verapamil.
