Rifapentine's FDA label of February 6, 2026 names rifampin in its drug interactions section; the rifampin label PlainMeds reads does not name rifapentine. The rifapentine label: “Rifampin has been reported to accelerate the metabolism and may reduce the activity of the following drugs; hence, PRIFTIN may also increase the metabolism and decrease the activity of these drugs.”
