Suvorexant's FDA label of March 10, 2025 names nefazodone in its drug interactions section; the nefazodone label PlainMeds reads does not name suvorexant. The suvorexant label: “CYP3A Inhibitors Concomitant use of BELSOMRA with strong inhibitors of CYP3A is not recommended.”

What does the suvorexant label say about nefazodone?

CYP3A Inhibitors Concomitant use of BELSOMRA with strong inhibitors of CYP3A (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole, posaconazole, clarithromycin, nefazodone, ritonavir, saquinavir, nelfinavir, indinavir, boceprevir, telaprevir, telithromycin and conivaptan) is not recommended [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.3) ].
