What the FDA labels say about taking them together

Erlotinib and rifapentine

Erlotinib's FDA label of June 10, 2024 names rifapentine in its drug interactions section; the rifapentine label PlainMeds reads does not name erlotinib. The erlotinib label: “Increase the erlotinib dosage if co-administration with CYP3A4 inducers is unavoidable.”

Check it at the source: the erlotinib FDA label on DailyMed (effective June 10, 2024, Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited); the rifapentine FDA label on DailyMed (effective February 6, 2026, sanofi-aventis U.S. LLC).
