Ferric maltol's FDA label of January 2, 2026 names doxycycline in its drug interactions section; the doxycycline labels PlainMeds reads (4) do not name ferric maltol. The ferric maltol label: “Oral Medications Concomitant use of ACCRUFER may decrease the bioavailability of some drugs, including mycophenolate, ethinyl estradiol, ciprofloxacin and doxycycline.”
