Cefuroxime's FDA label of April 29, 2024 names probenecid in its drug interactions section; the probenecid label PlainMeds reads does not name cefuroxime. The cefuroxime label: “DRUG INTERACTIONS Drugs that reduce gastric acidity may lower the bioavailability of cefuroxime axetil. Coadministration with probenecid increases systemic exposure to cefuroxime axetil and is therefore not recommended.”
