What the FDA labels say about taking them together
Carbamazepine and estazolam
Estazolam's FDA label of November 11, 2022 names carbamazepine in its drug interactions section; carbamazepine's label does not name estazolam itself but warns about its class (Benzodiazepines). The estazolam label: “While no in vivo drug-drug interaction studies were conducted between estazolam and inducers of CYP3A, compounds that are potent CYP3A inducers would be expected to decrease estazolam concentrations.”
