Isocarboxazid's FDA label of April 21, 2026 names bupropion in its contraindications section; bupropion's label does not name isocarboxazid itself but warns about its class (MAO inhibitors). The isocarboxazid label: “… (Lederle) Maprotiline HCL Ludiomil ® (Novartis) Trimipramine maleate Surmontil ® Bupropion The concurrent administration of a MAO inhibitor and buproprion hydrochloride is contraindicated.”
