Upadacitinib's FDA label of June 30, 2026 names rifampin in its drug interactions section; the rifampin label PlainMeds reads does not name upadacitinib. The upadacitinib label: “Upadacitinib exposure is decreased when it is co-administered with strong CYP3A4 inducers (such as rifampin), which may lead to reduced therapeutic effect.”

What does the upadacitinib label say about rifampin?

Upadacitinib exposure is decreased when it is co-administered with strong CYP3A4 inducers (such as rifampin), which may lead to reduced therapeutic effect [see Clinical Pharmacology ( 12.3 )].
