Sulindac's FDA label of December 20, 2024 names aspirin in its contraindications section; aspirin's label does not name sulindac itself but warns about its class (NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)). The sulindac label: “Aspirin The concomitant administration of aspirin with sulindac significantly depressed the plasma levels of the active sulfide metabolite.”

What does the sulindac label say about aspirin?
Sulindac label, contraindicationsSulindac should not be given to patients who have experienced asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs.
