Pantoprazole's FDA label of May 18, 2026 names nilotinib in its drug interactions section; nilotinib's label does not name pantoprazole itself but warns about its class (Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs)). The pantoprazole label: “Pantoprazole can reduce the absorption of other drugs due to its effect on reducing intragastric acidity.”

Avoid concomitant use with Tasigna. Use short-acting antacids or H2 blockers as an alternative to proton pump inhibitors.
