What the FDA labels say about taking them together
Fluvoxamine and tramadol
Fluvoxamine's FDA label of June 27, 2026 names tramadol in its warnings and precautions section; tramadol's label does not name fluvoxamine itself but warns about its class (serotonin reuptake inhibitors). The fluvoxamine label: “The risk is increased with concomitant use of other serotonergic drugs and with drugs that impair metabolism of serotonin, i.e., MAOIs.”
