Vortioxetine's FDA label of March 5, 2025 names fentanyl in its warnings and precautions section; the fentanyl labels PlainMeds reads (2) do not name vortioxetine. The vortioxetine label: “The risk is increased with concomitant use of other serotonergic drugs and with drugs that impair metabolism of serotonin, i.e., MAOIs.”

What does the vortioxetine label say about fentanyl?

Vortioxetine label, warnings and precautions

The risk is increased with concomitant use of other serotonergic drugs (including triptans, tricyclic antidepressants, fentanyl, lithium, tramadol, tryptophan, meperidine, methadone, buspirone, amphetamines, and St. John's Wort) and with drugs that impair metabolism of serotonin, i.e., MAOIs [see Contraindications (4), Drug Interactions (7.1) ].
