Everolimus's FDA label (Zortress) of February 12, 2026 names ketoconazole in its drug interactions section; the ketoconazole label PlainMeds reads does not name everolimus. The everolimus label: “DRUG INTERACTIONS Strong-moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors and CYP3A4 inducers (e.g., rifampin) may affect everolimus concentrations.”

DRUG INTERACTIONS Strong-moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., cyclosporine, ketoconazole, erythromycin, verapamil) and CYP3A4 inducers (e.g., rifampin) may affect everolimus concentrations ( 7.1 ).

Inhibitors and Inducers of CYP3A4 Coadministration of Zortress with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole, voriconazole, clarithromycin, telithromycin, ritonavir, boceprevir, telaprevir) or strong CYP3A4 inducers (e.g., rifampin, rifabutin) is not recommended without close monitoring of everolimus whole blood trough concentrations [see Drug Interactions (7)].
