Epoetin's FDA label of June 22, 2025 names heparin in its warnings and precautions section; the heparin labels PlainMeds reads (4) do not name epoetin. The epoetin label: “Patients receiving PROCRIT may require increased anticoagulation with heparin to prevent clotting of the extracorporeal circuit during hemodialysis.”
