Nevirapine's FDA label of July 15, 2026 names efavirenz in its drug interactions section; the efavirenz label PlainMeds reads does not name nevirapine. The nevirapine label: “Co-administration of nevirapine and efavirenz is not recommended as this combination has been associated with an increase in adverse reactions and no improvement in efficacy.”
