Dexamethasone and venetoclax

Venetoclax's FDA label of May 20, 2026 names dexamethasone in its warnings and precautions section; the dexamethasone labels PlainMeds reads (4) do not name venetoclax. The venetoclax label: “… with multiple myeloma with VENCLEXTA in combination with bortezomib plus dexamethasone is not recommended outside of controlled clinical trials.”

Advise females of reproductive potential of the potential risk to a fetus and to use effective contraception. ( 5.5 ) Treatment of patients with multiple myeloma with VENCLEXTA in combination with bortezomib plus dexamethasone is not recommended outside of controlled clinical trials.
