Cromolyn's FDA label (Gastrocrom) of June 26, 2024 names isoproterenol in its drug interactions section; the isoproterenol label PlainMeds reads does not name cromolyn. The cromolyn label: “Isoproterenol alone increased both resorptions and major malformations (primarily cleft palate) at a subcutaneous dose of 2.7 mg/kg.”

What does the cromolyn label say about isoproterenol?

Isoproterenol alone increased both resorptions and major malformations (primarily cleft palate) at a subcutaneous dose of 2.7 mg/kg (approximately 7 times the maximum recommended daily inhalation dose in adults on a mg/m 2 basis).
