Carisoprodol's FDA label of July 15, 2025 names meprobamate in its contraindications section, and meprobamate's label names carisoprodol too. The carisoprodol label: “Concomitant use of carisoprodol and meprobamate, a metabolite of carisoprodol, is not recommended [ see Warnings and Precautions ].”
