Amlodipine and itraconazole

Amlodipine's FDA label of February 15, 2023 names itraconazole in its drug interactions section; itraconazole's label does not name amlodipine itself but warns about its class (Calcium channel blockers, Calcium channel blockers (dihydropyridines)). The amlodipine label: “However, strong inhibitors of CYP3A may increase the plasma concentrations of amlodipine to a greater extent.”
