This medicine treats severe, sudden low blood pressure in adults. Low blood pressure can happen due to serious conditions. Norepinephrine helps to restore blood pressure to help blood flow to vital organs.
Sumatriptan injection is used to treat migraine headaches, with or without aura, in adults. It is also used to treat cluster headaches in adults. You should only use this medicine if you have a clear diagnosis of migraine or cluster headache. This medicine is not for preventing migraines or cluster headaches.
Norepinephrine works by tightening blood vessels. This increases blood pressure. It helps to improve blood flow to your organs.

If you have risk factors for heart disease (such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, or a family history of heart disease), your doctor should check your heart before you start taking this medicine. Sumatriptan can also cause stroke and other serious side effects. Call your doctor right away if you have chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness on one side of your body, or trouble speaking.
This medicine may be used during pregnancy if needed. Low blood pressure during pregnancy can be dangerous for both mother and baby. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits.
