Editorial Process
plainmeds's drug pages are generated from official FDA and CMS data through a documented pipeline. Our editorial process sets the rules that pipeline follows, which sources to use, how each figure is defined and labeled, and what we will not publish, and is accountable for the data framing, methodology, and corrections you read here.

Drug Information Editorial Process · Editorial Process
PlainMeds translates official FDA and CMS drug data into plain English, uses, side effects, interactions, prices, recalls, and shortages. Pages are generated from official datasets through a documented, version-controlled pipeline; the editorial process sets the sourcing, metric definitions, and methodology that pipeline follows, and does not accept payment from the entities it covers. The team's focus is on making public government data accessible and accurate.
